Finished this gem with my toes in the water, ass in the sand, literally. The perfect beach lake read.  This book made me:
1. want to book a trip to Italy, pronto
2. nostalgic for old Hollywood & simpler times (reminiscent of the way I felt reading Valley of the Dolls)
3. think about my next career move because my job mirrors Claire’s way too closely
4. look into renting Cleopatra and perhaps Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
Now, onto Gone Girl!
