In about 2 hours, I’ll be on a flight with some friends and J up to wine country for a fabulous weekend! Tonight we will be attending an “Out in the Vineyard” event sponsored by a friend’s parents winery. There are few things in life that make me happier than great wine, great friends, and great gay men.
(And thanks to all for gift suggestions. The group decided to do a brunch for the family on Sunday as a thank you. Phew!)

The context is not important, but as it turns out, the answer is no. I was referring to a different set of gays. When you live in West Hollywood, you tend to know a lot of gay men with a lot of different habits, if you will. It’s important to have friends from all walks of life.

A group of us are going on vaca together to wine country, and we will be guests in a friend’s parents’ home. I need to bring something small, as a thank you.
We are flying so flowers and/or live plants will not work. Wine country = no wine. Baked goods feels blah.
They obviously don’t need anything. Anyone have a great go-to gift?
